Cookie Policy
What cookies are, which ones this site uses, and how you can manage or disable them.
Hereby, pursuant to Articles 13 and 122 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003 and following the procedures; Simplified information and consent to the use of cookies, published in Official Gazette no. 126 of 3 June 2014 and provided for by the general provision of the Guarantor Privacy of 8 May 2014, the website bespokeitaliangroup.com (which will be indicated below such as “the Site”) provides visitors with information about what cookies are and how they are used.
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files sent from the site to your terminal (usually your browser), where they are stored and then retransmitted to the site at the next visit of the same User. A cookie cannot retrieve any other data from the User's hard disk nor transmit computer viruses or acquire email addresses. Each cookie is unique to the User's web browser. Some of the functions of cookies may be left to other technologies. In this document, the term ‘cookie’ is used to refer both to cookies proper and to all similar technologies.
Cookie type
Cookies can be either first or third party.
First Part Cookies
The “first part” is defined as the cookie that indicates the site as a domain.
Third-Party Cookies
Third party cookies are those that relate to external domains. Third party cookies are necessarily installed by an external party, always referred to as a third party, not managed by the site. These parties may also install first party cookies, saving on the domain site its own cookies.
Another type of cookie is the so called “Flash Cookie” (Local Shared Objects), used within Adobe Flash Player to deliver certain content, such as video clips or animations, in order to remember your settings and preferences. Flash cookies are stored on your device, but they are managed through a different interface than the one provided by the browser used.
Nature of cookies
Regarding the nature of cookies, there are several types of cookies:
Technical Cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary to the provider of a company service; of the information explicitly requested by the subscriber or User to provide this service” (see art. 122, paragraph 1 of the Code).
They are not used for any further purpose and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website. They can be divided into:
- Session or navigation cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access reserved areas); they are in fact necessary for the proper functioning of the site;
- Cookie Analytics, similar to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate, on the number of users and how they visit the site itself, in order to improve the performance of the site;
- Functionality cookies, which allow the User to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, language, products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided to the same. For the installation of such cookies is not required the prior consent of users.
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create User profiles and are used in order to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the same in the context of surfing the net.
The use of profiling cookies requires the consent of the person concerned.
Cookies duration
Cookies have a duration dictated by their expiration date (or a specific action such as closing your browser) set at the time of installation. Cookies can be:
- Temporary or session cookies: are used to store temporary information, allow you to link actions taken during a specific session and are removed from your computer when you close your browser;
- Permanent cookies: are used to store information, such as your login name and password, so that you do not have to type them again each time you visit a specific site. These remain stored on your computer even after you close the browser.
Cookies used on this site and purposes
This site does not install cookies of its own, does not use analytics, statistics or profiling tools, and does not load content from third-party services: typefaces, images and video are served from this same domain. No personal data is therefore collected through cookies while you browse, and for this reason no consent banner is shown.
The only Personal Data this site collects is what you enter yourself in the contact form, and that is covered by the Privacy Policy.
Should this change — for example if a web analytics service is added — this Cookie Policy will be updated, the table of the cookies in use will be published here, and consent will be requested before any non-technical cookie is installed.
Managing Cookies
In respect of the guidelines of the Code on the Protection of Personal Data (Legislative Decree 30 June 2003, No. 196, hereinafter “Code”) and, in particular, to articles 13, paragraph 3 and 122, paragraph 1 and with reference to the measure to identify the simplified procedures for information and consent to the use of cookies — 8 May 2014 (Published in the Official Gazette no. 126 of 3 June 2014), you can change your consent to cookies at any time.
The User has the faculty at any time to exercise the rights recognized by art. 7 of the Legislative Decree 196/2003 and later, in particular, among others, to obtain copies of the processed data, their updating, their origin, their purpose and the manner of processing, their rectification or integration, their cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking the processing in violation of the law and to oppose for legitimate reasons the processing.
If you have already given your consent but want to change your cookie permissions, you need to delete them through the browser, as explained in the section below, because otherwise the existing ones will not be removed. In particular, it should be borne in mind that it is not possible in any way to control third party cookies, so if consent has already been given beforehand it is necessary to delete cookies through the browser or by asking for the opt-out directly to third parties or through the site youronlinechoices.com.
